I think as an adult, it is impossible to see through a child's eyes. I don't think it is possible to forget, set aside, or disregard the reality that our adult minds tell us is there. You cannot erase your memories or knowledge.

The only way I think you can finish that sentence is: Seeing the world through a child's eyes is like looking through a solid brick wall. It is impossible. When we share an experience with a child who is seeing something for the first time, we can, however, remember that sense of wonder we had a children, and that sense of how perfectly the gears meshed when we finally figured something out.

With no disrespect, as a life long Writer/Author I suspect you are far younger than I,,,smiles.

I suggest this, and even here, narrow the Q to those most young. Take a moment to reflect on your own childhood, and your perceptions of life in those years. Your metaphor and/or analogy can create itself. AND with no offense to any here who answer, everyone SEES differently.

I want to take point with "Undisordered" though. Again, no offense. Their "Order" is a process, and evolution through experiential situations. Initially a child is completely "Disordered" yet is like a dry sponge waiting to be soaked.

Finally; A childs innocense is innate. It's only through their evolution that it becomes dilluted, or altered, often by the "attentions" or intrusions of adults. Hmmm,,, consider this in word "play" Innocense = perhaps "Inner Sense"? As such is only expanded through experience.

To a child the quote "Less is More" absolutely applies, yet they want the MORE always.

seeing the world through a child's eyes is like...
a mother's first gaze at her newborn, wholesome and pure.
