Yeah, its been worse in the past. Trade is mostly a private industry issue and the government plays a smaller role in controlling trade deficits. Economies have a way of working things out without totalitarian governments and retaliatroy tariffs are not something a Repub President is going to do and when Bush did it with steel the world went crazy. Russia had a dandy deficit under Communision because they could not produce anything. Don't think you understand economics and nor actually politics either or you would see that there is little connection between the two ideas in your question. China has become a tremendous trade partner and the world economy has helped to raise the standard of living for the average Chinese family so economies do work things out. Now if the US would just stop giving away that much money in foreign aid to worthless regimes around the world than you might be able to connect your concepts. But thats ruthless and not likely something that Bush or anyone else is going to do. Your question makes little sense and seems to be just a chance to say something about Bush without being able to connect the concepts or his involvement.

Well naw i never did like that idea none. I think a lot of different people could have done a hell of a lot better. Im not a hater though..but thats there wasted money.
