I'd have to see the course description. The Molecular one presumably limits you to molecular biology working with DNA or proteins, whereas the other course presumably is a more generic course covering more fields of biotechnology including bioinformatics and maybe more in the health field as well.

As for jobs, I'm not sure just one course of either is going to put you on a career-track, what are you interested in?

Biotechnology studies would cover ALL aspects of biological technology, including the "non-molecular" kind. The "molecular" kind is more specific to the molecular level. As to which one is a better one, that depends on your purpose, but molecular biologist make a great deal of money because they have a special skill that not everyone can do. I suggest you ask the professors about the course curriculum. I would be in the molecular biology class, but you need to what is right for you. Good luck!

I agree with BT, I think the two courses are pretty much the same and neither one will qualify you for any particular job that the other one wouldn't. Nor would the lack of one over the other disqualify you from any jobs.

Choose the one with the best teacher. You always get more from a good instructor than from course content anyway.

Molecular biotechnology is the better of the two.
