I've been using ovulation test kits for the past 3 months & I've been testing every day this month after my period ended, since my husband & I are ttc. However, the past 2 months, either before or after I ovulate there is no LH Surge line, but this month, the LH Surge line keeps appearing, it's just a little little lighter or darker, but it's never not there as I've experienced the past 2 months. Just wondering if anyone has ever had the same thing happen to them? I'm probably getting worked up about nothing and shouldn't take those tests so seriously, but I just think it's weird. It's too early for me to take a pregnancy test.

Started my period on Tuesday, January 30 & my period stopped on Sunday, February 4th, so it's only been 15 days after I started my period, but each time I test, there is always a line there indicating some type of LH Surge

I have never had any luck with OPK's they are so hard to read! You have to compare the lines. I would suggest the CLEARBLUE EASY FERTILITY MONITOR, it is expensive, but I think its worth it. I would look into it. This is my 1st month using mine, but they store info for up to 6 cycles.

I am on day 16. No not everyone ovulates 14 days after the start their period! I wish people would understand that. Its 14 days from when their next period is due, that's when you ovulate. My cycles are about 37 days apart so i ovulate on or around day 23. Good luck!!

Women have LH in their systems at all times but it surges right before ovulation. The darkness of the test line is what is most important with OPK's--if it is darker than the control then you've detected your surge, but if there is just simply a lighter line then the test is negative. If the tests seem to always be positive then you should consider PCOS as the cause. Also, some fertility meds like Clomid will cause constant false positives.

You dont state if you have missed your period or not or if you could be ovulating. I do know that ovulation sticks can show positive when your pregnant but shouldnt be used as a pregnancy test. If you know you have already ovulated, then it doesnt hurt to go buy a test and see. I didnt hold much faith in those ovulation test kits. In my opinion, they just dont work good enough to help a woman. I truely loved the fertility monitor. That was so much better because the machine did the reading for you and made it that much easier. Take the test and Good luck!!!

........I see your additional info now.......Well if its been 15days since your last period, then that means you are probably ovulating. Remember that those ovulation sticks can show a line every day for some woman. I would say it's baby making time!
