all men have a thing that they like, hunting, fishing, electronics, music, cars.
homer simpson slippers are not on that list.
want to make your hubby happy? buy him a gift certificate to his favorite store. And make it worth his while. Men spend a tremendous amout of money on women at valentines day. And yes, you do expect it. Try to think how much he spent on you last year, and make sure the certificate equals that.
Valentines day, of corse, is not for men, it is for women. so maybe you can insult the guy by giving him those slippers, and feel great about it.

Personally I wouldn't like them but you should know better than any of us. Just give him the gift and watch his face. You can tell if he likes them or not. If he doesn't, just offer to take them back and don't get your feelings hurt.
