No rational person can possibly claim Mr. Bush hasn't been a failure in almost every area of his administration, but should we congratulate him for succesfully disarming N. Korea today?

My congrats are muted since he helped create the problem in the first place, but unlike other problems he helped to create, this one seems to actually have a rational, fair, resolution that Mr. Bush can take pride in.

No. He refused to talk until the Dems were given the keys to congress and the senate. He was pressured into negotiating against his will. Its like giving a convict credit for being in his cell on time.

Like most liberals the blame you should put on Clinton for caving into that Korean punk you hide. Giving rewards for breaking agreements is something more in keeping with the democrat approach than republican. Being a hawk I favor just taking out the facilities in North Korea and also Iran and telling the world to kiss our butts. The French, Russians and Chinese could care less about what is morally or politically correct. All they want is the money and the chance to put it to us through a third party. Putin and the Chinese are loving our problems like we did when Russia was getting it's butt kicked in the 80's.

I'll give him credit. Apparently it took him six years to realize diplomacy is an option, but good job George.
