Check out http://www.alpybus.com/ they do transfers for the Chamonix valley including Argentiere to Geneva (Airport) for €20 each way and is scheduled or try http://www.altibus.com/ they only go to Cham you'll need to check in resort at the office du tourisme if they'll pick up in Argentiere.

From Argentière as well as from Chamonix, the train connections to Geneva take 3 to 5 hours!

You may find all information needed in the suggested link - the Swiss railway service offers the information needed also for near railway stations in France, so simply enter "from: Chamonix" to "Geneva"

In the States we have companys that want people to drive cars from point "A" to point "B". Here we call it Driveaways Service. Or check with the rent a car companys and see if you can have them set up a route for you. All you should pay for is you food and lodging. Make it an adventure! Have fun!
