Cat A wouldn't because he's obnoxiously friendly and it would waste time he could be using to constantly pester us for attention.
Cat B is too busy crying and carrying on because he doesn't like the food I got them last time, the big spoiled whiner. He's been at it for a week and has about another week to go until this batch of food runs out.

Some of them did when they were really little. Must not have known what it was actually for. They're all outside now. No more litter boxes.

No, I've got an insane kitten who never sits still very long. But I've seen older cats do it; they tend to be the ones that do. But sometimes cats w/urinary or digestive problems do it, so I'd check them if they're doing it, though.

I've seen one of mine stting in hers when it was all cleaned of poop. Are you sure your cat is using the box? It might have a urinary track infection if its just sitting in the box and crying.

No never, it's about the only place it doesn't sleep and I believe this is beacuse it wouldn't incovience me in the slightest, they sleep whereever they are most likely to be a nusiance.

Do you have extra advantageous than one kitty? if so there may well be a territorial situation, dozing interior the clutter field is his way of telling the different cat "it relatively is mine". wish this facilitates, if no longer it relatively is relatively helpful to call your vet and ask him if he has ever heard of something like this, he are able to furnish you a relatively common answer and maximum possibly a answer to boot...
