Try hot water.

I live in Florida and I can't understand why anyone would live up north in places where things like car doors freeze! lol.

Ok stop!!!!! Do not put hot water on your door it will shatter the glass most likely . So get a hair dryer and and a long cord from your house and just take your time and do not hold it to the glass and do not put it too close to the paint or it will ruin it . Just have some patients and be careful when you finally open it or you will rip off the rubber seal on the inside of the door

Hot water or hair dryer will sometimes help... If this happened after washing your car last night.... do this... after you wash your car and drive home, open the doors and close them just on the first catch, you can go back out there after 15 minutes or so after they freeze (easy to open partially closed) and reclose them. or dry the inside of the doors off while they are still wet. If you have trouble with locks freezing you can put a piece of duct tape over the lock when washing to keep water out.

hair dryer and hot water beat softly around the door edges with your hand to try to break the ice loose inside the door frame area

Put a lot of water in the kettle, heat it up. (Probably not to boiling though, might damage the paintwork and car itself).

And poor the warm water on the edges of the car door.

Then you can start the car up, leave it running, and eventually the whole car'll de-ice :)
