My hubby & I have been TTC now for over 2 yrs. We have had all the tests done & everything is fine with both of us. We have even considered IVF but we don't have the money. Does anyone have any tips or suggestion that can improve our chances? The doctors just don't really seem to care. Is there any foord that we should be eating? We are desperate we are willing to try anything now. All we want is to be parents. I don't understand why this is happening to us. Were we just meant to be childless or will we ever be blessed. Someone please give us some advice or tips.

I am sorry you are feeling this way. TTC is hard on you personally and as a couple. I dont know what you have tried, so I might suggest something you have already been doing. For me, the best thing I did was buy the book "Taking charge of your fertility" by Toni W. That had so much information in helping me understand my body and the best ways to increase my chances. I also bought a fertility monitor and took my temps every morning and charted them. All this helped me pinpoint my ovulation to the day and increased my chances of having a baby. I didnt do any special diet. But there are ways to increase your cervical mucus to help the sperm travel to the egg. That is explained in the book. I wish you the best of luck and I am sure you will find the help you need.

Stress lowers your chances so both of you need to relax. Go on a vacation. I know a couple that tried for over 2 years and went on vacation and she found out she was pregnant the next month and conceived that week. Also try to put a pillow under your bottom to elevate your pelvis for about 30 minutes afterwards. Don't get up, shower or pee right after. This worked for my mom when she was trying to get pregnant with me and my brother. I asked my doctor and she said there is some truth to it. My husband and I have been trying for 6 months. We bought an ovulation kit and are trying it this month. I will post if it works. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife and I are going through the very same thing. As a result of too much money, doctors that only seem disinterested and no clear reason not to get pregnant, my wife started a service where she is helping couples get IVF for a fraction of the cost. We were quoted $15,000 per try at our Atlanta clinic. She now gets couples IVF treatment for $6,000 per try for the first and a fraction of that for additional attempts. We are going through treatment as we speak.
You can read about it on my wife's site at www.myivfalternative.com just click on Mag and Jeremy story or Mag's IVF Diary. Also, there is a link on her site called "connected mom's" that helps couples raise the money for their IVF treatment.

I hope this helps you

IVF (in vitro fertilization) treatment; and Laparoscopic surgery is very cheap in India. The cost is very low and the medical services are very good in India.

My cousin and her husband got their IVF treatment in India through the Forerunners Healthcare in India and is all praise for this company. She is a known case of PCOS.She is a very happy mother of a baby boy now. She just paid 2500 pounds for the full IVF treatment in India for which she was quoted 8000 pounds in private setup in UK.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. I read a lot about them in the newspapers. I have also read about a Chinese couple who planned surrogacy through the Forerunners Healthcare. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery and infertility treatment like IVF, IUI, and ICSI abroad for low price. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery and treatment can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

gosh this must really be hard for you (i bet you love hearing that...!) sorry. just try to relax and enjoy the intamacy with your husband. it helps if you know your cycle and when you ovulate. you probably already do.... i was very much aware of mine so when my husband got home from deployment we had no time to waste because i knew i was going to ovulate 4 days from when he got home. we had sex twice that day (not sure if that even makes a diff.!) but i knew i got pregnant that day because i felt a "pop". some women don't believe this but every women is differnt : ) i'll be praying for you. may be god wants you to just trust him and once you fully do that it'll happen. well, that's what happens to me all the time (with everything), just let go and enjoy! i hope you have all the babies you want!!!

OK, tell Ur hubby to wear boxer shorts or no undies at all because it can over-heat his testicles, avoid electric blankets and water beds. both drink 6-8 glasses of water a day avoid drinks loaded with caffeine, eat foods rich in zinc such as oysters, seafood, and red meat, also eat leafy green veggies for foliate, up your protein intake. lean meat, fish, chicken, grains and legumes are a good sources. good luck and let us know how it all goes and don't forget to exercise that helps to.
