We're reading a story called 'The Metaphor' in class and we hvae some questions on the teahcher in the story. She's being described as a cake...so what would it mean that
1. The cake was adorned with a profusion of white roses and limegreen leaves which the drooped and dribbled at the edges where the pastry tube had slipped.
2. The frosting was of an intense peppermint flavor to sweet, too strong.
3. Inside the caked had two layers - chocolate and vanilla.
4. The chocolate was rich and soft and very delicious. No one stopped to taste it could have failed to enjoy it.
5. Because it was a birthday cake it was filled with party favors.
6. If you stayed long enough at the party you would amass quite a large collection of treasures.
