It happened, it is documented, the people who organized and committed the "final solution" accepted their crimes. Whether it was 3 or 6 million is irrelevant, it is still an awful lot of people murdered, without any chance of self defense. They died, slaughtered as cattle.
3 million people alone were murdered in Auschwitz-Birkenau. Many more were systematically killed in many other death camps. The soviets also murdered, under Stalin's orders something close to 10 million people, and it is believed that at least 35% of them were Jews.
You should study the history of our world a little, and try not to think of people as numbers. Each one of those "just 3 million" had a life like you do, each one of them had feelings, a family, possessions, and a history. They cannot just be forgotten, we cannot afford to let this happen again.

That was the total afterward, not before. Before hand there were over nine million in Europe and western Russia. And that is just the number of Jews killed, there were many others that were not Jewish but were slaughtered. Check out www.shoah.org for the first hand accounts of the survivors. Also, they still have the bodies of those whom the Germans failed to incinerate before the Allied forces came. They also have the concentration camps themselves with the ashes of human beings in them. The Germans also had the information on each Jew filed separately. I know it happened, and those are only some of the reasons.
Oh, and as for the 15.75 million worldwide idea. It's just not true. And what do you say to those who ran the camps but were not executed? Do you call them liars? Why should they lie? It only makes them sound worse. And who was buried in the mass graves? They didn't just gas and burn all of their victims. Some of them they shot and buried, others they mummified for so called scientific research. And those who survived the holocaust did not get their homes back. They had to move away in order to get a place to live. And most of those who left Germany by sea were immediately sent right back. Nobody wanted them... And the majority of the people who left Germany went to other European countries that ended up under Nazi control and they died anyway.

The source I have is one of many, but seems to have the most detail. It's written by a guy named Gordon McFee. It says:
Most statistical breakdowns I have seen list the number of Jews killed in the Holocaust. The estimates vary from around 4.1 to 6.0 million, with more recent research supporting an even higher figure.
It goes on to say:
It is estimated that another 5-6 million non-Jews (Gypsies, homosexuals, prisoners of war - especially Russians - were killed during the Holocaust period.
So looking at THOSE numbers....that means that NON-JEWS were either slaughtered at the same rate OR MORE than the Jewish people. Hear that? NON-JEWS. I know of stories about the Gypsies. German soldiers would see them coming up....and just shoot them where they stood....and left them there. If my relatives didn't pull out of Hungary (where most gypsies came from) in the 1920s, I might not be typing this now. Plus remember one thing, Hitler didn't stop at Germans...any part of Europe he conquered felt the wrath too....and that was ALL of Europe
AS far as whether or not it DID happen? I'll have you talk to my buddy's grandmother. She can show you her scars and tattoo she got in the concentration camps. Plus, after you talk to her (if you can listen that long, she doesn't water down the details) you'll never doubt it happened.
Oh yeah....whoever's giving everyone the thumbs down is either azz or some NeoNazi. Truth is truth.....live with it

Total jews? What's that supposed to mean?
Just in Germany you mean? There must be hundreds of millions of jews in the world - it is a major world religion.
Even if you were just talking about Jews in Germany, they didn't just kill those in Germany. They stormed and took over most of Europe and killed a lot of them.
I think it's disgusting that people nowadays can be ignorant enough to question the holocaust. You can go and visit these places on the continent. See the old photographs of all the dead bodies and hear accounts of the thousands of people who survived long enough, or escaped the death camps.
The Allies didn't realise what the camps were at first - from aerial photographs, you couldn't tell what their purpose was for. Even once the first people started coming back, it seemed hard to believe.
If you listen to Neo-Nazi propaganda like that, you will get ridiculous notions like that - that it never happened.
Why make it up? The allies already went to war with Germany when they invaded Poland. They didn't know of the Death Camps, what would making up a story like 3 MILLION DEAD PEOPLE do to help? We were already fighting.

your information's faulty and your sad if you think it didn't happen
Venin:
if i offended you i apologize
here's the facts
almanacs, and encyclopedias are not good sources of information, regardless of how you feel
1998-United Nations Census
14 million Jews worldwide
2002-World Jewish Population Survey
13.3-14.6 million Jews worldwide
but you said there were 15.75 million in 1948....boy I'd love to know where that number came from. See that's what happens when you get information from almanac's and encyclopedias. And if you question the U.N.'s credibility than I've only proven my point, becaus it is far more reliable than encyclopedias or almanacs
ultimately, think what you want but you haven't shown anything remotely proving your theory

I think it's disgusting how many people here call themselves educated when they've clearly never bothered to research the other side of the story. But I suppose it's easier just to believe what you teachers at school have told you, right? God forbid you take responsiblity for your own education.
In 1938, the population of Jews in Europe numbered 8,939,608. It is a given that they were never all under Hitler's control. In 1933, there were only about 600,000 Jews in Germany. Between 1933 and 1938, some 150,000 Jews actually left Germany at the urging of Jewsish leaders who were boycotting and declaring war on Germany.
In 1948, the Jewish population of Europe had grown to 9,372,666. That means the European population of Jews had grown by 433,058 in just ten years. That's almost a 15% growth in European Jewish population.
During the years of the supposed Holocaust, the worldwide Jewish population did not decline by six million people. In 1938, the worldwide Jewish population numbered at 15.75 million. In 1948, the worldwide Jewish population also number 15.75 million. If 6 million Jews had been killed, that means that there would have been 11.75 million Jews left to replenish their race. It is impossible in a span of only ten years for them to have seen a population growth of over 51%, bringing them back to their pre-war level. The lowest level of Jewish population for this time period was seen in 1941, when their population dropped to 15.2 million worldwide. A loss of only 550,000 people from pre-war levels. Not uncommon for what you would expect to see during wartime.
So not only did the worldwide Jewish population not decrease, but the European Jews actually saw an increase in their numbers, which is even more impressive given that some of the loss in European Jewish population was due to emigration (to Israel, United States, etc).
The numbers simply do not add up. No wonder the Jews want to silence revisionists. People might actually stop believing in their Holohoax and then they won't get any more reparations. After all, why silence someone unless they pose a threat to you? Hmmm...
EDIT 1:
Brett-
If you think my information is faulty, please disprove it. Which numbers do you find incorrect and what source backs up your claims?
EDIT 2:
Brett-
I don't believe witness testimonies because so many of them contradict each other and are highly inaccurate. Some of them are outright lies. How can you discern the true testimonies from the false? You can't.
Secondly, the Nazi officials who confessed did so under torture. Do you really think that's a good way to get an accurate confession? I don't. It's only useful for getting the confession one wants to hear.
Thirdly, the camps have been tampered with. In some cases, they have been been intentionally made to look like what they were not. The Soviets can be thanked for that. I have seen some of the camps and I was not convinced.
Almanacs published in the 30s and 40s are certainly a good source. They would not have been exposed to the kind of bias that many modern sources are. They simply reported the numbers. It's not their fault if the numbers being bandied about today do not add up.
And I never said anything about a Jewish conspiracy. I suspect most Jews probably don't know much more than any other average person. Jews today perpetuate the lies, sure, but I don't think they invented them and I don't think a lot of them even know any better.
Besides, why are people so concerned with whether or not I, or anyone else, does or does not believe the mainstream Holocaust story? Tell me, is my religion also your business? My political affiliation? How about my marital status or what brand of jeans I prefer? Stop worrying so much about what other people think and quit being so intolerant of differing opinions.
EDIT 3:
Brett-
I gave up long ago trying to change people's minds on important issues, especially over the internet. A question was asked, I answered it. You don't have to agree with it or even like it. I don't need to justify my beliefs to you and I'm certainly not looking for your validation.

Yes, I believe it happened.
It's difficult to ignore countless testimonies, and evidence, although I'm getting the hint that's what you enjoy doing best of all. Considering you're saying that there's only three million jews that time, and they have four million clearly documented deaths? Don't forget Poland, now.

You've misread - the total number of Jews was about 13 million. over 60 years later they're back up to that number - in your face Hitler!
Anyway, there is physical evidence of it and it can not be denied except through the utmost ignorance.

Yes, the holocaust really happened. Sad, massive and horrible as it was, it really happened.
The only people still trying to 'deny' the holocaust are people who don't like or have a grudge against Jews and/or Israel.

Yes. Ever hear of Auswicht? And for your information not everyone killed in the holocaust was jewish. Gays, and Gypsy were also taken into concentration camps and brutally murdered.
