There is a common misconception that women are fertile on day 14 of their cycles--this assumes a text-book 28 day cycle which few women really have. Ovulation happens 10-16 days before the start of your next period with 14 days being most common. Figure out how long your cycles are and when your next period is due and count back 16 days--this starts your fertile period.

You are most fertile around day 14 counting from the first day of your last period..You can also get pregnant a few days before that, the day of ovulation and a day after ovulation...Keep in mind that everyone is different and have different cycles..Your best bet would be to take ovulation tests to see when you are most fertile..
Good Luck!

Like a few others have said, you are most fertile 10-16 days before your next period. If you are extremely regular, I guess you can figure out approximately when you would be based on that. If you want to chart your cycles, you can check your temperature to help find out if you did in fact ovulate when you thought. You need a basal thermometer for this. You can also check your cervical fluid to tell you when you are most fertile.
If you want to read up on this, I suggest you go to www.fertilityfriend.com they have a 10 lesson guide to help you determine when you are about to ovulate.

You could also use ovulation predictor kits to help you determine if you are going to ovulate. They are expensive if you buy them in the store but you can buy them for fairly cheap online.
Try www.saveontests.com or early-pregnancy-tests.com

Try reading Taking Charge of your Fertility by Toni Weschler. It will really help you understand your body and how everything works

Every woman's cycle is different and you should really go to http://www.mymonthlycycles.com and put in your period info and it will calculate when you will be fertile and ovulating plus keeps track of your periods. It will even email you to let you know your upcoming fertile days and when your period is coming. It is a very helpful and free website to use. I use it and love it. Good luck!

It has no relation to your period. Just have heavy sex constantly until you are pregnant.
