I have found a site called ibootsale, it has the added bonus of not having to get up early on a Sunday morning to set up your stall in some random field or car park nearly freezing to the spot and having to handle haggling customers out for a bargain.

The gumtree is good. I've sold household stuff, clothes and my old mobiles on it in the past. Even though it's meant to be for antipodeans in Britain, it's pretty much used by everyone and has different sites for cities all over the country.
