Not with the present technology. The Sun's atmosphere is at a very high temperature, reaching several millions of degrees Celsius! Any person wanting to reach the Sun's photosphere (what can be perceived as its surface), would have to go through its very hot atmosphere! There is no known material that can withstand such temperatures, as to protect the person.
Night or day does not matter, since the Sun does not switch on or off! It is the Earth's rotation about its own axis that makes night and day possible.

The only place that idea would be feasible is in the world of science fiction. In real life, the trip to the sun would take too long. Solar flares would hamper communication. Nighttime on the sun is called daytime. It's a big ball of fire, burning so brightly that it can be see from light years away. And, if by some miracle, they crisponauts made it past Mercury, they would find the sun is actually too hot for anything to survive on it.

hehe yeah technicly anything is possible, but the suns sooo unbelievably HOT!! and unstable with explosions and such, it would be a huge task to perform this.

firstly getting some1 to the sun will be an achievement in it self cos its literally millions of miles away, secondly humans, i think havent got the techonolgy or resouces to land or come close to the sun, member the suns a star not a planet or satellite like the moon so it wont have a mass to land on!! its 74% hydrogen and 25% helium.
and the rest is made up of trace quantities of heavier elements.

so landing it will be a problem after handling the envoromental condition of the sun :P.

hehe hopes this helps!!

we can't put a man on the sun because the temperature at the surface of the sun is about 10,000 Fahrenheit (5,600 Celsius). The temperature rises from the surface of the sun inward towards the very hot center of the sun where it reaches about 27,000,000 Fahrenheit (15,000,000 Celsius). The temperature of the sun also rises from the surface outward into the solar atmosphere. The uppermost layer of the solar atmosphere, called the corona, reaches temperatures of millions of degrees. The corona is the bright halo of light that can be seen during a total solar eclipse. and we can put a man on the moon because the moon is much much cooler than the sun

Someone has been blowing smoke up your nose. The core temperature of the Sun may be as high as 10 million degrees. Anyone or anything approaching the Sun will be vaporized by the heat long before getting close.
The Sun is actually an on-going thermo-nuclear reaction. It operates like a controlled hydrogen bomb.

It's impossible to put a man on the sun. You would be dead before you got to the surface. It's roughly 9,032 degrees Fahrenheit (5,000 degrees Celsius) on the surface. It won't happen at night either because it's just as hot as it is in the day. I don't mean to be rude, but if someone told you it's possible their a Dumb A**.

woah. Filipinos are not as dumb as this.. it was meant as a joke.. in fact other races are more dumb than races in asia.. (proven scientifically, if with experience, well, most call center clients cant turn on their computers or laptops because it isnt plugged, or decided to use the cd drive as a coffee holder, or take up english majors even if they already speak the language and dont have the guts to take on engineering courses and call would-be engineers geeks but these 'geeks' make their country better than any other country, together with people from other asain countries, to put their coutnry on top).. not even a spaceship can reach the surface, it would burn even before reaching 1M kilometers from the sun.. why make Filipinos seem so stupid?

I'm sorry, but it won't work. Until we improve propulsion systems it would just take too long. Night is over in a matter of hours and it would take much longer than that to reach the sun and return.

Thats not possible! A spacecraft would burn up anywhere near the sun. Going at night wouldn't matter...the sun still shines, just on the other side of the world. The sun never "goes out". lol that's just not possible.

the sun is like a billion degrees. and the moon is like not that hot. the Filipino's are going at night because the sun is turned off. they will have to leave before it turns back on. for real no kidding
