He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including AL Qaeda members It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons.” Sen. Hey, you aren't allowed to bring up what the leading Democrats have said in the past.

That would mean that someone may hold them responsible and they only want to hold Bush responsible.

Let me add one "The intelligence which the president shared with us was in line with what Bill and I saw in the white house"
Hillary Clinton - 2003 -addressing Code Pink

That should shut anyone up that wants to say Bush gave them bad info.

We all agree Saddam needed to go. We also all agree the search for WMDs was needed. Congress approved those objectives. Congress never approved the occupation of Iraq. Bush was told by Powell he needed a exit plan. Bush ignored that advice. Now the question is. What can Congress do to make Bush's mistakes right?
Impeachment is the only course of action for Democrats in the House, they know that. Bush's crimes in office are many. Who said what and when is a question that should be answered under oath before Congress during the trial.

The fact that every leader of every country in the world and all the leadership in the US thought saddam had WMDs should not get in the way of the catchey slogen "Bush lied people died" that just sounds so 60's it wouldn't be right to let the facts get in the way.

Funny how they are blaming Bush for what those liberals said. Now Bush can cause hurricanes, blizzards, thought control over weak little libs to MAKE them vote for a war. At the time they weren't lying, they just blamed Bush and started the famous flip flopping dance that they do so well.
