PSP Downgrader?

I have psp ver 3.11, i know that there isnt a downgrader yet....but when i do downgrade to 1.5 will i still be able to play newly released downloaded games?...coz some games need v2.80 or later...

Is It Absolutely necesarry to downgrade in order to play downloaded games?

No not really, downgrading just enables you to add other homebrew that 2.8 and higher do not support. All I use is 2.8 with eloader.

You can downgrade to 1.5 then upgrade to any Open Editions by Dark Alex (latest one is 3.10 OE-A). That's the only way to play downloaded games.
