y isnt the chic that sings the song in "Say It Right" by Nelly, getting most or all of the cretit, i mean shes the one that singing the song, and Nelly only says "Hey" ever once and a while.

Because he's more famous than she is, so being on the track it is benefitting her career more than his. If she gets credit at all, that'll be enough to help her. It's always been like that when someone with a name has a no-name vocalist (not fair).
