Dont fancy the lion dung either - how is that better than cat dung??
And i also have a dog with no brain cells so he would probably try to play with it

fill 1 and 2 litre coke bottles (with lables taken off and the coke drunk!) with water and place them round the garden this has been know to scare cats off as the light reflexs through the bottle and water. and if you have time whilst sunbathing, get a water gun and shoot water at the when they come in to the garden after getting wet a few times they soon learn thats its not the right garden to poo in. also things called moth balls are good as well. buy a load of these and just sprinkle around the garden.

Go to the local zoo and ask if you can purchase/have some lion droppings / poo. Place small amounts around the perimeter of your garden. I read somewhere, cant remember where, that this really does work. The local cat will not want to be in the same territory as the big boys. I have not tried it myself because we have two dogs, they work.

You can buy a piece of equipment that gives out a tone that only cats can here and don't like therefore they will stay away from where it is put.
