He didn't call me in Xmas, at that time my heart was finally dead. I went a getaway with my friend in New Year, when I got up the morning after New Year Eve, I got his voice message. He called many times as the connection was no good, but only able to leave a New Year message the last call. I was a bit surprised that he called, honestly at that time if he didn't call, i would have let myselt to finally letgo of it and move on, though i would probably feel upset. He called quite a lot of times when I was holidaying, but not after I returned to my hometown after holiday ended. We live in different countries, tmr is Valentine's day and I m thinking if I should just leave him a message and say Happy Valentine's. To be honest, deep down I miss him a lot. Should I call just to make myself happy?

Hmm...I pretty much know how you feel but to be honest as hard as it would be you really shouldn't call him. I know you are probably looking for someone to say YEAH GO FOR IT and any other answer that is not that your most likely going to ignore. But I can promise you, I have been in your situation many of times! The best thing to do is move on. I mean you can tell yourself "Yeah I will just call him as a friend" but you know that there really is no need to call your EX who you haven't talked to since new years. Hey maybe he will call you but don't give him the satisfaction of knowing your still thinking about him.

Good luck and God bless

In all reality, calling him won't make you happy, it'll just make you more upset. Although you might get that initial spark when you first hear his voice, once you realize that he's an ex and that things didn't work out, it'll make those upset feelings worse. My suggestion? Go out with a bunch of your friends, have a few drinks, laugh, dance and just generally have a great time. He's an ex for a reason, let him stay in the past.

do you want to get back with him-if yes then call him- if not, it is time to cut all ties and move on. I know that might be a hard thing to do but you have to start sometime and now is good. The longer you try to keep in touch the harder it will be to let go. good luck

no, no, no. you need to get over him.... why don't you think you deserve to be the one receiving the phone call or gift? if he's not wishing you a happy valentine's why waste your time wishing him one? is it because you are hoping if you stay in touch he will want you back? he won't. move on. you broke up for a reason... now let it go and be open to someone else. you owe it to yourself.

Do you call all of your other friends on Valentines Day? If not, I would not recommend calling your ex. Do not treat him differently than other friends, it will only make it harder for you to get over him.

Nope. IT sounds like you took a while to get over him. If you call him, you might start liking him again. Let it go. if you feel you may regret it, call him a day or two later, just to say hey and casually mention valentines day

I think you really need to move on. The longer you hold on to basically nothing, the thougher it's going to get to move on, doing a number on yourself mentally. Not healthy whatsoever.

No!

If you REALLY want to talk to him call on another day that doesn't have so many romantic connotations. He would be entitled to think of you as having stalking tendencies!
