Were all of you aware that this generation of dodge engines with the Hemi nameplace do not have the actual hemispherical cylinder heads that the name comes from?
Back in the days of big ol' muscle cars (60's and 70's), these HEMI engines actually had hemispherical heads which was very effective in improving combustion quality.
All of the HEMI engines nowadays are nearly beefed up non-hemispherical head engines that just happen to have HEMI written on the side of them. this time around, HEMI is just simply a name.
It's not that dodge is trying to decieve us, they're just playing with name recognition, and hoping no one investigates further.
