does anyone remember this guy named Steve Walsh? he is my uncle he was the 3rd string QB for the cowboys back in 1990 he even got to start 3 games in a row but yea he does anyone remeber him? he played for 9 years and when ever i go to his house he has all his cowboy jerseys and stuff its cool

Yeah ... he also played for the Miami Hurricanes. Good player. I think I still have some of his rookie cards.

Steve Walsh came to the Cowboys when Jimmy Johnson took over the Cowboys. Jimmy wasn't sure how good Aikman was so he brought Steve Walsh as insurance in case Aikman didn't pan out. We all know what happened after that.

Yes, I believe he even played for the Chicago Bears at one point. Didn't he come out of the University of Miami as a national championship winning QB?

Yeah i remember him with the bears. he fit in with the other 100 QBs they had from 90-current

yeah, i remember him. he also played for the Saints for a couple years. the Saints actually traded for him back in the '90's.

Yeah, there was actually people in Dallas that thought he was better than Aikman (they were there @ the same time).
