Wait until you're legal then experiment. You are too young to know for sure. You will be bombarded by curiosities while you mature physically and mentally.

firstly, seventeen is not too young by any stretch! i was 16 when i had my first girlfriend and had sex with her. i am 25 now and surely don't regret it or feel like i was not mature enough.
also, in the UK there are plenty of different kinds of people...i lived there for 5 mons and maybe you should try heading out to some of the gay clubs/bars? Where in the UK are you...I could name a couple of fun ones!
do what's best for you...you may be bi, you may not, but you won't know until you try. it's ok....take a deep breath and do what is best for you (i know easier said than done) but it will work out in the long run!

Just because you're legal doesn't mean you need to rush. Same for straight sex too. It took me a few years to accept I was bi.
If it's just the idea of sex (with a man or a woman) that excites you it needn't mean you are bi.
It has to be when you look at someone (regardless of gender) and decide that this is who you want to be with (and not just for sex).
My advice? Read, Go out to a pub (next year LOL!) or a club, find out how you feel in a LGBT environment and take it from there.

I think you should do stuff with both sexes and see which you prefer. I believe that most people are bi and it's just whether you choose to act on it or not. So it is your chocie whether you are or not. Actually i take that last bit back, i'm gay and did not choose to be your mind and body kind of chooses for you.
