My wife does not come from this country and evey time she talks she has a heavy accent. I am used to it but my friends and relatives are sometimes rude and say stuff like.."hey you are in a English speaking counry..speak english"" so i am in the dog house

They envy you for marrying an English woman. Do not mind them just smile at them and tell your wife just to smile at them

Hi, I am so fortunate that my partner has no need to look at other women regardless of their bodies, age and looks. A woman of substance has so much more to offer a man than that, so you feeling turned on is a great sign that you are only fulfilled by cosmetic beauty and/ot the fact that you are in a loose kind of relationship. Your wife is perhaps testing you, yet if you are in an open relationship no amount of teasing and looking can alter the fact that you have a dysfunctional relationship (she) allowing you to have casual relationships and her doing the same possibly. She is engaging in the behaviour that you allow to happen because you have set the parameters. There is nothing healthy about it on both parts from what you have written, so why ask a question that is not going to result in anything constructive or positive?

And you say don't talk to my wife that way! You can stand up for her! She's the one that you live with and if you want to keep your marriage you need to put your foot down to those people insulting her and let them know that you will no tolerate it. If it comes to it stay away from them and let them know that you mean business. You can find new friends who will show more consideration and respect. Family members are supposed to love you and automatically respect you and your wife. School them too.

well the fact that somebody is teasing your wife weather in front or behind your back is not cool. these people should respect that she is your wife. now i dont know all the facts but i hope that you dont make fun of her your self like if you get upset at her because your friends maybe just trying to get in good with you. but if there doing it all the time and your not liking it, you might try telling them in a simi joking way that hey man, i dont make fun of you tore up old wife. or just be straight up with them. tell them right in their eyes, i hope your not talking about my wife like that. because if you are i might get really offended and do something you might not like.now knock it off or i'll take you off my christmass list. and when you say off my christmas list say it in a crazy joking way. see how that works. remember dont let someone else make you feel bad for having her as your wife. and also tell her to pay no attention to them and tell her you love her just the way she is. ......GOD BLESS.

She's your wife, don't you think it hurts her? Whats wrong with you, who's more important family friends or your wife? You need to show your family you really care for her as well as your wife. You need t o stand up to your family for her. She will love you for it. As for your friends, tell them she's your wife, and you will not put up with it, If they don't like where you stand, then ask them to leave. Let your friends know how much it hurts you and your wife your family will get over it. .

Defend your wife. Tell them to let up, she is trying. If they cannot understand her, then they should ask you what it is that she said, or they should ask her "kindly" to repeat it.
I too believe that people that come to America should speak English, just as I would want to speak Japanese or Chinese, if I went to their country.
She is trying, they need to get off her back. Tell them to stop.

Take them aside and say, "Hey, guys, that is really, really rude. She's my wife and she's a wonderful person. And, she speaks English a whole lot better than you speak (her native language). When you give her a hard time, it hurts me. Please don't. If you can't handle her accent, then please don't invite us over any more, because where I go, she goes, and where she goes, her accent goes."

if u luv ur wife dnt act like a wimp and watch.. shes probably hurt if they keep sayin this n u dnt do owt. speak or jus ignre them ., patience is a vertue! theye probs joking but if they say it sarscasticaly, u rather avoid them. and talk tio em first n tell them to act more mature, theres no need for such behaivior. bless u for ur concern thou..... but show her sum respect and stick up for her ok. gudluck n tkcr

to tell you the truth mate, be a man and stand up for your wife, you love her dont ya? dont let people (FAMILY AND FRIENDS) be like that, at the end of the day, are they really family and friends? they should accept and move on, they have issues mate

Well...dog...speak!...Say... Have some manners!...Don't say rude things to my wife...You train them how to treat her...if you don't stand up for her...they assume this is kosher with you...get a spine.
