Boston (and nearby communities, like Cambridge) houses some of the best universities in N. America. In fact, they rank among the best in the world.
I'll only talk to general universities, because you want finance. I won't speak to the many fine music, art and engineering specialty schools in the Boston area.
The two very best universities in the Boston area are:
Harvard University
Massachusetts Institute of Technology
These are elite level schools.
Below them, but also extremely strong, are:
Boston University
Wellesley College
Tufts University
Boston College
If you want an undergraduate business school, also look at Babson College.

Boston is a blinding city. i do not stay there, yet have visited some circumstances. it really is a liberal city, so i doubt you'll hit upon a lot racism. this is extreme priced to stay there. maximum human beings who I knew that lived there after college had to promote for roommates to be ready to discover the money for his or her employ. the colleges like Harvard and MIT are troublesome. i do not study about the different ones. likely a community college there does no longer be so confusing. there is an entire mixture of income training there, like countless different enormous city.

it all depends on what your major is. Boston Univeristy is a very good all around school. Harvard Medical, Dental are in Boston Area. I went to Pharmacy school in Boston. MIT is also in Boston.
