1. Having your child's body found, and knowing they suffered before they died.

2. They are never found, and you spend the rest of your life not knowing if they are dead or alive.

Spun - your'e killing me with this ?

Honestly, I would rather have found them then never knowing if they were dead or alive. At least in finding them, there is some form of "closure" and they could be put to rest.

Jesus, now I'm really bummed out.

I think it would be worse for my child never to be found dead or alive. I think that I would prefer to have a body for closure. Either way this is a hard question to answer. I don't have children yet, but I do have a 2 and a half year old nephew and I would be devastated if anything happened to him or my future children.

Having two children myself, I would have to say having the body found. Having them never found would most likely drive me crazy, however in that I could cling on to the thought that there is a chance they are still alive and maybe one day could come back to me. This is a hard question to think about.

Having my child found and knowing there wasn't anything I could do to help them would definately break me. This ending would be so permenant and hurtful.

Either ending would make me want to punish the person or people who had done this. I don't think any punishment would be harsh enough for them.

The first choice. Because then atleast I would have some closure. It'd be super painful, but it's better knowing your child died whether or not they suffered rather than living the rest of your life wondering if they're even alive, where they are, if they're okay, if they're even still abducted..it's just harder that way.

Definitely the worst would be option #2. With the first, even though you know they suffered, at least you now know where they are and what happened to them. That is much better than not knowing, I think. And in first case there is the chance that the culprit could be caught and convicted of the crime. And I know I could find someone in whatever jail he/she went to to "take care" of the person with "extreme prejudice".

If I had to choose one I'd rather their body was found even if they suffered. Never knowing and suspecting their suffering, torture or possibly that they were alive and still being abused would be a cause to go insane.

There is no real way of knowing the answer to this question unless you have suffered this horrifying experience. Either way it would be life destroying, I pray I never find out, and the same for you.

I think 2 would be worse for because I am the kind of person that has to know. At least if I knew, then I could give them a proper funeral and grieve.
