I am going to start recording some tunes this coming spring, and I thought it sure would be kind of cool to win a Grammy.
Now here's my take on Bush, short and sweet. He is a poitician, and all politician's are bad. It's hard, but there it is.
But I notice that some very talentless and lame musicians are racking up Grammy's. And they have been noted for their anti-Bush sentiments. That Dixie Chunk Natalie Maines and those orginized noise-makers from Greenday are good examples.
And please don't reply back saying "oh no, they are really good" because they are not. The world has plenty of people with no atristic sence at all who will buy their CD's, so record sales are meaningless to guage talent. It's hard, but there it is.
I'll bet if I just name the album "I hate Bush", they will be engraving my name on one as we speak.
Sound like a plan ?

I'm from Holland, and the Dixie Chicks are hardly known here (Greenday for instance is), so I started looking and found this on a yahoo newsitem:
"With a haul of Grammys Sunday, the Texas trio topped their comeback from their 2003 Bush-bashing comment that turned them from superstars to pariahs — but Music Row isn't welcoming them back into the country-music fold"
So... it is actually the other way around than what you are suggesting, Bush bashing made them pariahs and they still won't be played on country music redneck stations.
Which means you're either ignorant or lying... does sound like your president...

In my opinion if you win a music award,it means your sound is
popular to the masses and on that rational i wouldn't want to
own that groups music anyway.I love real Detroit instrumental
techno so artists i like will never get a sniff of a Grammy thank
god!!.
The reason people are slagging of bush is because he is a
war mongerer and a liar(WMD yeah right,oil more like).so
don't be surprised celebs hate him as much as us real
people. The facts speak volumes about your countries
policies abroad.

No, No, and I repeat, NO!!!!!! Political "bashing" will get you nowhere - - unless you're already there - - - and you know this to be true!!!! Why even let it enter your mind, cause that's can't be your plan for success. You will get nowhere unless you know someone in the music business and are very talented. Hate to sound like a "Simon", but there it is!!!!! You sound like a bright person, so you know this to be true!

I was thinking the same thing. Should we form a duet before B. Spears catches on and beats us to it.
I can't sing so i'll do mine for spoken word...the one that Hilary, Bill, Barack and Jimmy Carter all won.

Bingo You got it. Bush Bad! Bush Bad! Just repeat that over and over and you will win. On the flip side I would sing Terrorists Good Terrorists Good. ..... No maybe that would make them think. Stick with Bush Bad Bush Bad.
