I'm not trying to be a concert pianist. Mostly I'd like to learn to play some old blues type music. Something to have fun with at parties and on my own.

Absolutely. There's no reason why you can't. Find a teacher and be very up front about your goals so that they can tailor things to you. Remember, there are lots of teachers out there, so if you don't like the one you have just switch to someone else. You'll never regret adding music to your life.

Yes, anyone can learn to play any instrument at any time. It may not be very easy, since your hands are not young anymore, but the musical aspect will still be the same. But playing music provides hours upon hours of satisfaction, so I would say go for it.

Yes Captain Jack! Anyone, any age can learn to play a musical instrument. Just learn the notes and remember your fingering.

Yes and just like everybody else you have to practice, practice, practice. You just have to have patience too, it will take a little while to learn specific songs.

Good luck.
