it had to be the best TV program from the 80's/90's ever!

Knightmare was the CGI game on ITV where kids had to wear that helmet and the napsack and were guided by their friends "side step left" etc. The dungeon master was called Tregard. Amazing stuff!

Me and my Mum were talking about it the other day! I liked it but my Mum absolutely loved it, she'd rush home from work when it was on and would be shouting out which way for them to move (like they could hear her!!!) she even wanted me to go on it but I was to shy to try!!

I remember Knightmare it was brilliant! Always wished they'd bring it back again and with computer graphics as impressive as they are now and everyones apparent love for hobbits at the moment you would've thought now is the best time too! Come on ITV if you're listening bring it back!

I used to love Knightmare, but rather embarrassingly have to admit that it used to give me the creeps and I'd have to watch from between my fingers! I remember being absolutely convinced something awful would happen to them if they didn't complete the task!

Was that the virtual reality thing where one kid wore the helmet and the others told them where to go. Sidestep to your left! and so forth. Wasn't there a king or something who just sat around? Or am I thinking of something else?

yeah, it was great, although I expect the graphics would look quite dated now, I liked the dragon the best and used to watch it at tea times with my dad, wonder if it will ever be repeated on terrestrial television?

I used to replicate it and make my young sister wear a hat that covered her face. I told her to walk forward. stop. take a step to the right. walk forward. The she'd bump into a table.... hahahaha!
