Nope, most awards are just rigged to promote certain people in the industry and they definitly want the billions of $ back that they lost when this group put their foot in their mouth. The Grammys are voted upon by musical peers and nothing to do with the people who listen and buy the music. Just because the music industry says the crud music is beautiful does not mean it is not crud. The grammys is the music industries way of promoting its own and has noting to do with reality. It is all about $$$ and manipulating people so they will buy.

Yeah they did deserved to win particularly some the awards...different than album of the year, music of the year, and checklist of the year. Their album wasn't just about as good to win those categories. The pink warm Chili Peppers would desire to've gained album of the year and Mary J Blige would desire to've gained checklist of the year or music of the year. i bought all 3 albums and in my opinion the Dixie Chicks fabric wasn't super. the only reason they gained is via the music "no longer waiting to make severe-high quality", different than that the album wasn't as super to win all of those Grammy's. yet i can not argue with them via fact the Grammy's tend to tug those low fee disappointing stunts in the direction of the top.

I wouldn't listen to them before...just not into country music but I've heard their music and musically I wouldn't turn them off if a song they sang came onto the radio (Top 40/pop station).

One of my favourite groups. Have always listened to them, enjoyed them and don't plan on stopping any time in the future.

if they dont play the chicks on a country station.......i reckon i wont listen.....i heard they have forsaken the best for the rest.
