Skins - who played Jal's dad episode 3?

Does anyone know the name of the actor who played Jal's Dad he's really familar (and fit) but i can't place it, I think he may of been in eastenders but i'm not sure

He was in Eastenders he played Steve and worked in pub and I think he did the night cafe too, he was a part time DJ and was in love with Della. Who was a lesbian and went out with Binnie.
