I just heard on the news that a woman here in San Antonio was arrested yesterday for drowning her 3 year-old daughter in the bathtub.
No history of mental problems, either......
Stories like this hit me so hard......I'm going to be upset about this all day long.....god rest that poor little child....the horror she must have gone through....

The woman is obviously mentally ill. We should feel as sorry for her and her family as we do the child, RIP.
It's good to allow our feelings to be accessible, but please don't let this stay with you today. There are millions of people this second rocking back and forth, sick and aching, with their stomachs twisted in pain from hunger. As individuals, we decide how much we can do, but we can't save the world. I just feel blessed and try to send blessings to those suffering every day. Peace and love to you. Have a beautiful day.

Having a kid is the hardest thing to do.
When people are not prepared for it, they will brake...
I love my son to pieces, 3 yo as well...there are days when I just want to hmmm "switch him off"... Not as far as killed them, but there were times that I was so scared that I might harm him...
Usually my husband takes him away, and give me time.
This is from a mother who has husband support, and is pretty happy in life, and is totally prepared to have a child mentally.
You can brake I tell you, it sounds harsh but it does happened. Anyone who otherwise must be someone with a lot of patience, with some external supports, or worse...has never actually spend 24 hours with the child because they are mostly with grandparents/school/daycare/or someone who has a job and can "hide" there...
I am a full time mum as I have intended to do, under 5 yo is a very critical time, very annoying, very stressfull...
Imagine if this mother didnt have any external support, no brakes, no planning to be a mother, someone who fell into motherhood by accident.
Very very scary things can happened...these things happened just for a reminder for others, that child caring can be very stressfull, and you shouldnt have the pressure of
"to be a good parent you shouldnt give yoursefl a brake".
That will lead to this...

yeah like the women that drowned her three little kids in the car.. yeah :( . why have them if your going to do something like that? i got two kids and my daughter is hell... and i have never thought of drowning her...maybe throwing her through a wall but not killing her ( shes 15 ). its sad.

It's so sad to hear things like this, especially being a mother. There are so many options. I don't get it. How could ANY mother harm her child?
