Legally yes as they are a motor vehicle but practically no as you pointed out where would you put them?

apparently so i had a ticket stuck to my speedo on a 50cc moped in a train station car park i argued i cudnt put ticket no where had 2 pay the 60 quid fine **** holes

No providing that you park in the motorcycle bays set aside for them

As for where to stick them try where the sun don't shine

you dont need to buy them. if you did they would just get stolen.
