Smoking, sun, and pulling on your skin are the leading causes of wrinkles. Don't do those things. Also drink a lot, and I mean a lot of water. Add vitamin E to your diet and things with antioxidents help too. Iced tea is a great way to get those antioxidents as well as fresh fruits and vegetables. And finally, use a good moisturizer.

Now if we got the point of the question wrong, and "Wrinkles" is the name of your pet sharpai, then none of these suggestions will work. For that scenario my I suggest a good strong leash. That will stop Wrinkles in his tracks.

Stopping wrinkles require a whole life style there is nothing that on its own can help.
The major thing you need to do is stop the sun from burning and wrinkling your skin. Therefore avoid direct sunlight and also ensure that when out in the sun you have a good factor suncream on to protect skin.
There's nothing cool about being bronzed if you start to wrinkle at the age of 30!
There are some good creams that you can use and try one that contains alpha-hydroxy acid, not as strange as it sounds.
Creams containing this are said to be great at resulting in soft and clear skin.

Honestly, if we could stop wrinkles....well we wouldn't be on here writing about them. But there are factors that can and do vary the way we age. Factors we can't change, family genes, family history, basically our genetic make up...and unfortunately our genes make up a large of how we age. Factors we can change, #1 environmental factor that causes aging or wrinkles....THE SUN...you must, you must, wear a SPF 30+ on your face, neck, chest if exposed DAILY. The sun really does age people, especially fair skinned individuals. Not only does it age them but it also causes skin cancer, various forms of which can really kill. So please get all your moles, beauty marks, birth marks, etc. regularly checked out by a dermatologist. And remember no tan is a healthy tan if you got it laying out in the sun. I know, I know, yes it does look good, I agree. But I always will question..."How much is that tan really going to cost them?", "How many years will it add to their face or shave off their life?". Because, really that tan is just sun damage and that is just bad.

20% of how your skin will age and wrinkle is genetic and beyond our influence.

The rest in environmental and relates to our diet, habits and skincare routine

1. Exposure to sun causes premature aging and wrinkles , whatever the weather, wear a spf of at least 15, if it's sunny make it 25 particularly if you are fair, on face and hands, wherever you are exposed. Cover up in the sun, avoid strong sun between 11am and 3pm. If you have had a lot of unprotected exposure there isn't anything you can do to put it right but it's never to late to stop over exposure.

2. Smoking starves the skin of oxygen and regular smoking will age your skin dramatically, giving deeper wrinkles and a dull, grey complexion. Your skin will always benefit from stopping, if you smoke.

3. Too much alcohol ages skin. It dries out the skin, worsening wrinkles, thread viens, uneven patchy skin. If you cannot quit alcohol, the odd glass of red wine is seen as beneficial as it contains the most antioxidants.

4. A diet rich in vitamins, minerals and protein is essential for healthier skin. Fruit and veg, nuts and seeds, olive oil, fish oil. Deficiencies cause dry, patchy, rough and dull skin, prone to wrinkles.

5. drink 2 litres of water a day, you will literally see the difference in your skin within a few days. Your body will take moisture from your skin and elsewhere if you don't drink enough water, you literally dry out. Alcohol and caffeine are diuretics, so you need to drink more water if you are drinking these.

6. Try to get a good nights sleep, 7hrs plus, your skin repairs itself at night.

7. Aways remove makeup at the end of the day, your skin ages 8 days for every one day you sleep in your makeup.

8 Moisturise morning (with spf) and night (rich cream) after cleansing and toning. As you get older exfoliating once or twice a week can slough off dead skin and brighten your complexion. Don't over exfoliate, it can just irritate it.

9. Try to relieve stress, your body produces chemicals that dull and age your skin when you're stressed.

10. Exercise firms skin all over the body and increases blood flow to the skin and cell renewal

11. Anti aging creams. They've yet to prove these really work, the most they do is moisturise and some have spf but I think that's all. Get all the other things right and you lay the best foundation for healthier smoother skin for longer. Good luck.

Oh and as we age, being too thin can add more wrinkles as a little fat under the skin plumps and pushes them out. So when you are past 30 try to avoid dropping too much weight and equally yoyoing up and down in weight. Unfortunately, to an extent we choose between our face and our ****. sad but true.

90% of all skin damage is caused by EXPOSURE TO THE SUN!

So if you want to reduce wrinkling and sagging (the other 10% is all due to aging and genetics, you can't do anything about it)

But you can stay out of the sun, or always always always wear SPF protection! I know some GREAT products for men and women that all contain SPF protection - moisturizers, toners, concealers, foundations - and of course, you can wear a hat!

but really, you need SPF protection. Feel free to email me if you want more info. I've been wearing SPF protection on my face and neck daily since I was 17, and it really helps!

You can't stop wrinkles, period! It's a natural process we all go through. But you can slow it down quite much. But it takes some changes in your lifestyle. Avoiding too much sun and keeping your skin in good condition... It doesn't cost any money and it's easy to keep your skin in good shape...

You can read articles about that here:
