My kids have 2 pet turtles ... HAD... one (somehow) got out last night and I can't find him anywhere!! They live inside and no way he got outside....

If he 'somehow' got out, means somebody took him out.. That somebody would also have taken him somewhere to play. Where have your kid asked to take the turtle out to?
If he's in the house, you just need to cover every single foot of floor space you have. I lost a turtle once. We found him a week later stuck under the rug in a little corner of the house. Would never have guessed to look there..

Once my turtle got uder the TV. One of the old kinds w/the fancy wood around therm. Well she managed to squeeze between the carpet and the bottom of the TV which seemed impossible. In my experience they will try to go any place dark and warm and once they get there they will sleep for a bit. Good luck and if you find them maybe get a taller cage!

I lost a turtle once, I think it went to the stream behind my house, do you have any water near your house?

somewhere warm. check by the space heaters, radiators or whatever you have. Awe I feel bad. Uplifting story, when I was a kid I lost my hermit crab, Herbie lol, and he survivied in my sock drawer for over a month when he turned up later lol. It was great, my mom freaked out! so check in weird warm and cluttered spaces.

this has happened to me...i swore it couldn't get out of the house...but we never found it (alive or dead)...i wish you lots of luck...the only place we never thought to look was under the appliances (stove, fridge, etc.) turtles are very strong and can get anywhere...and yes, they do run away...

Clearly it was taken out, now it's just check everywhere under everything. Close doors to rooms already checked to help keep it confined.
