i am developing vb6 application to handle mails better.
i am using cdo library 1.21 for that
everything is going good, just one goes wrong
when i try to read email or send email outlook displays security warning message
"Another program is trying to access email addresses you have stored in outlook. do you want to allow this?
and allow access for 1 minute, 2,5,10 minutes

i want to disable this warning by programming
i googled net about this and found clickyes and some softwares like that.

they are not more useful as i need.

please tell me some freeware or programming code to disable this

i can also handle outlook so any tip about it will also help

please tell proper solution to disable it by programming code / outlook configuration / registry solution / last option freeware utility

I agree this is pretty much impossible. We developed a program a while back and could find no way around this message. We even worked with Microsoft to find a way they "approved" of to do this, but none was found. It meant a very custom install of Office would be required.... which was not in our plan.

We ended up having to educate our users to just click 'Yes'

AFAIK it's impossible to disable that warning (once you have the security correction from MS installed in your PC).

It's a security feature, and same happens when anybody from anywhere tries to access anything of mail (e.g. even if you access the address-book in gives this msg).

Frankly, after seeing teh damage a virus had done about 4 years back, i think it's a good feature.

sounds like the malware or viral scanner is doing this, not outlook itself. your scanners are thinking a trojan, hacker or something is trying to work its way into the email program. that is what you are getting disable the scanners and run your program again. if it works, you'll need to go into your scanners and grant acess to your program.
