They went from loving the Dixie Chicks to hating them for using their right to free speech to hating them even more after they won 5 Grammys.

People are free in this country to say almost anything they wish. However, no one is forced to like it or agree with it, and those that do are just as free to express their opinions. I see plenty of hate from both sides. Extremists of both ilks need to get some therapy and learn to deal rationally with their issues. Then maybe we could have a discussion on things instead of a p---ing contest.

Not all "right-wingers" liked the Dixie Chicks.
Now I couldn't care less about them. Not because they exercised their freedom of speech, but because they did it in a foreign country, and they opened their big mouths on something they obviously know nothing about.
Celebrities need to stay OUT of politics, unless they REALLY know something about it!

The Dixie Chicks said country music fans are morons. Brilliant move from a country music band.

we do not hate them for freedom of speech, we do not hate them at all. It was irresponsible for them to bash our president abroad at a time of war. And we do hate the fact that the only reason they won is because what they said supports the far left agenda. I would be embarrassed if i were them, being used by left to further their agenda and not winning their Grammy on talent alone.

They had free speech? Which government agency was stopping them? I do not think you can answer me this. "Hate Speech" is more of a Freedom of Speech issue because the government backs it.

Freedom of speech does not entitle you to be listened to it only entitles you to speak. They are musicians I never listened to them ever and certainly won't now. Thier sales are in the dumpster and their grammies only prove that liberals love failures.

only lib-lefters hate people who tell the truth. That is unreasonable.

Conservatives get annoyed with people who lie. This is much more reasonable.
