How do we fix the economy in Michigan?

Michigan people are suffering from massive lay offs, and a slow economy. I think we the people should do something, and quit waiting for the government.

Spend more money?!?!! What is this idiot thinking? Our state government already has way too much money and absolutely no accountability as to how they spend it, so why the hell would we give them more money to blow on useless projects and lining their own pockets?

Here's one thing we the people can do: RECALL GRANHOLM! She was supposedly "surprised" by Pfizer's announcement that they were leaving Michigan, yet their Regional Manager in Michigan is a "friend" of hers and she claims that she talks to this guy "once or twice a week" and you're trying to tell me that she didn't know BEFORE the election that Pfizer was planning to pull out? Come on. What's worse, she gets up in front of the people of Michigan and basically says "The State of Michigan is sorry that so many people living here are losing their jobs and are on such a tight budget, and so to fix the problem we're going to make our citizens give away more of what we already know they don't have (READ: Money) by imposing a tax on services." Is this the same woman who was saying "...and in FIVE years, you are going to be blown away."? Yeah, as in dried up and blown away, like many of the businesses and workers that have left this state thanks to our Governor who is 100% pure politician and typifies tax-and-spend liberalism. Yet the majority of the people in this state, pushed primarily by the UAW, the Teamsters Union (the two most corrupt unions in the world) and the folks who want to be on welfare forever, voted her back into office.

Don't blame me, I voted for Dick DeVos.

1. Get Granholm out of office, ( why we elected a canadian I will never know )
2. Get the damn welfare under control ( this state is the only one in the country that does not have a plan to get it under control )

she added a 2% tax to business and services. which will end up in the general fund and paying for wellfare.
GREAT IDEA, that will get the business' flocking to Michigan. to pay MORE tax than what the business owners are paying right now?

Devos would have won if he didn't come on the tv and say he wanted to end welfare in this state 2 days before election.
He eliminated all of those wellfare voters.
Not that DeVos is much better, amway is a scam, but hey, they make $, and this state needs to be run like a business. a lot of people I know are planning to leave the state, It is not going to get any better any time soon.
We the people have no control over the economy in MI,
as a business manager, and former business owner I think the 2 biggest problems in this state are
wellfare, ( people should rely on it in a crisis, not as a permanent source of income )
the SBT single business tax ( it's illegal and unconstitutional )

Can people can make a difference in an economy that is broke and losing jobs?
It's hard to get the public to spend $ when there is none to spend.
