The 7600 GT is the best one, the 6800 GT is a close 2nd.

You can check all the specs here:

7600 GT --> Faster clocks , highly overclockable, but smaller memory bus at 128bits, overall better performance.

6800 GT -->Slower clocks, wider memory bus at 256bits, and more pixel & shader clocks, overall less better performance than the 7600GT.

I would go with the 7600 GT. Supports Directx 9. I do not know if AGP cards support Directx 10 in Vista. From personal experience, go with an eVGA. You can get it at Newegg, really fast

They all support directx 9.0c, go to newegg.com and look up specs of each one, I believe the best AGP card Nvidia made was the 7800 gs oc, just compare the memory/gpu clock speeds and the video memory size.. I had 6800 gt oc, wasn't bad but died after like 2 years, only factory overclocked, got really hot fast too, I would replace factory heatsink and fan with any Nvidia card I got if I were you..

nicely you have the GTX690 and the 7990, the two are particularly solid (I desire the 7990 besides the undeniable fact that that's confusing to locate in inventory, even harder than the 690), yet they're the two twin GPU video enjoying cards. easily the GTX690 is two GTX680s working in SLI on a single PCB. a similar is going for the 7990, yet with 7970GHz GPUs. yet another, oftentimes regarded over card for top overall performance is the Quadro K5000, yet it fairly is particularly high priced, even while in comparison with the 690 and the 7990, provided that's a laptop card, no longer meant for gaming besides the undeniable fact that it could carry its own. For single GPU, the GTX Titan, palms down. no longer something can touch it apart from a water cooled intense overclocked 7970.

Why do you need AGP and 256MB? If you need these things, then you should have a compelling reason to go with one card over another.

Is it for gaming?

Buy the best bang for the buck. Look on anandtech or tom's hardware, etc. for reviews of all of the cards. They might actually compare all of those together if you're really lucky.

The 7600GT is the best one out of all of those. Check out the link below to see a review and benchmarks of between those video cards and a couple others.

I have GF 66600GT AGP. It's a very good card. Other cards are PCI Express. Not AGP . 6600GT is a ideal card.
