Have you read other books by Gail Carson Levine? Particularly check out the books like The Princess Test and Cinderellis and the Glass Hill.

There are also books by E.D. Baker that are really good, such as The Frog Princess and Once Upon a Curse.

The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale is also excellent.

Beauty by Robin McKinley. Similar to Ella, but not as funny. A wonderful re-telling of Beauty and the Beast. Her books The Hero and the Crown and the Blue Sword are excellent as well.

Sherwood Smith's Crown Duel and Court Duel, and her Wren Books

Howl's Moving Castle and other books by Diana Wynne Jones

The His Dark Materials books by Philip Pullman

If you like Witch, try Witch Child by Celia Rees, The Midwife's Apprentice or Catherine, Called Birdy by Karen Cushman.

You might also like books by Alice Hoffman, Anne McCaffrey, Ursula K. LeGuin, Garth Nix (especially Sabriel), and Donna Jo Napoli.

Also, check with your school or public librarian. They are usually excellent at recommending books if you tell them a couple that you like.

Read the Two Princesses of Bamarre. I know you'll love it. I couldn't put it down. It's by the same author as Ella Enchanted.

"Wise Child" by Monica Furlong is absolutly fantastic ! It is a young adult book but I read it as an adult and it is one of my favorite books ever.
If I had to pick only one book to be stuck on a desert island with, this would be it !
Read and enjoy! Wise Child is a story you will treasure for always.

checkout the Redwall series by Brian Jaques or a book titled Catherine Called Birdie, also, don't limit yourself to one genre. read books like Enders Game, or books by Beverly Cleary, you might not enjoy everything you read but it will be a great experience.
