Ladies here refers to young women in our world community, who are craving after worthless things and always want them in big bundles, aren't we all supposed to be contributing to the perfection and edification of our land.

In my opinion these should care for themselves sufficiently not abnormally, I cannot tolerate a fellow student holding a mirror to her face and creaming herself in our lecture that is foolish!

I merely aimed at people who show no much sympathy and dedication when they are fulfilling their tasks. If you may note I am not against anyone but am concerned with my fellows who seem to forget the essence of life.

Unfortunately, despite the sexual revolution, our society still prizes young women for their looks. Where I live now, most women are not socialized to achieve greatness, but to marry a rich husband. One of the first things I noticed was that people like to "trade up." A woman works on her body and image, and if she's married, many will dump their husbands the minute someone "better" (read "richer") comes along. Women I worked with were miserable. The dream is to be married to someone rich enough so she doesn't have to work. She can join the Junior League, play tennis and shop to her heart's content. I pity such people - the men and the women in this scenario, because they are never happy. They are never rich enough, nothing is ever good enough, and they are boring. They have no imaginations and are practically soul-less. Let's face it - most people are boring and have no inner life. But the girl in your class is probably there for her Mrs. degree. Sad.

How are you contributing to the edification of your land complaining about what "young women" do?

The fact that you can't "tolerate a fellow student holding a mirror to her face and creaming herself in our lecture" is extremely foolish...of you, worry about the lecture and stop preoccupying yourself with what doesn't concern you.

If this is not the sort of woman you prefer, then by all means seek a woman who shares your views. And if none share your view, well maybe you should examine yourself.

what? .....worthless things to you..may not be worthless to them...what your values is ..doesn't mean it is someone else's...
each person is an individual and should be viewed as such..not just in a big lump...

and if you can't tolerate "a student holding a mirror to her face and creaming herself "(whatever that means)..than don't look.....its none of your business anyway.....

worry about your own self..and others will take care of themselves....

BECAUSE the actions of those young ladies around you bothers you, you need to determine why. Could you be focusing on others to keep from looking at yourself?
Try tolerance and humility and compassion.

Because now more than ever girls are being bombarded with the emphasis being on looks, not on substance....hell, look at their role models right now: Paris Hilton, Brittany Spears...oh yeah, real quality goods in these chicks. *UGH* They need self respect and need to realize that the sun does not rise and set around their bony asses and we do live in a society!

you're generalizing.
too bad the world you're living in is full of stereotypes like that, but maybe right around the corner you'll find a lady who doesn't have a mirror surgically attached to the palm of her hand and who doesn't cream herself with make up.

i like who i am...deeply flawed, but at least i know it and try to make it better...as for my looks, i won't wear full make up to work if it kills me...just my lip gloss and a hair tie.

Ban American movies. Get the women out of your schools and back into the kitchens and bedrooms of their men. These vain women are obviously not intelligent enough to attempt to educate. Keep lipstick with you, when they start primping and making themselves look like whores, smear lipstick on the faces send them home in shame.

Or, get out of the 19th century. Ignore the women that are trying to make themselves more attractive to intelligent men. If you do not change with the flow of times, you will be washed away.

With all the energy you have, please re-direct it into something more useful than worrying about a classmate's physical appearance. You go deeper than outward appearances. Good luck you are on your way.
