i have finished beating articuno and absol has joined my team along with magnemite.. i am charmander and my partner is squirtle, i went to ninetales and that whole thing is finished, with everyone beleiveing me over gengar.....now in my team i have charamader(me), squirtle(partner), absol and magnemite...how do i recruit more members? =S thank you

You need to buy the Friend Area's Some can only be accessed at the completion of the game!

To recruit pokemon first you need to buy friend areas for pokemon to live. before buying check any friend area's info to find out which pokemon you know lives there. friend areas are available from a wigglytuff in the pokemon square for a price. in order for a pokemon to join you the leader must hit the final blow. that means other pokemon can reduce it's health but the leader should make it faint. also pokemon has different percent of chances to join our team. for example articuno has 30% chance to join our team. most of the legendaries can only be recruited on the second time we beat it. we can increase the recruitment percent by leveling up or holding the friend bow. friend bow increases the chance by 10% but it is very rare. a 90-100 level pokemon has 24% bonus on recruiting pokemon. recruitment percent is important because some pokemon like rayquaza,deoxys,kecleon etc has negative percent chance. this means for example rayquaza has -10 percent chance. so we should try to level up and hold the friend bow to increase the chance. also some legendaries need friend areas and some donot. the last thing to remmember is that some evolved pokemon cannot be caught. we should catch it's pre-evolved form and evolve it. ex. we can catch charmander and charmilian but we cannot catch charizad. so we should evolve it's pre-evolved forms.

You go to wigglypuff in the town center and you have to buy friend areas. Friend Areas are the places the pokemon live so in order to recurit you need their hometown
