This guy I met yesterday. I am packing so as to move in with him. Would it be too forward for me to ask what his name is?

No, you don't want too many details. Just start with the essentials. Like income, address, whether he has life insurance, that kind of thing...

If you are so ready and eager to move in with him after just meeting yesterday, it sounds like you are interested in something besides his name... I suspect you have met some other parts of him with a name that speaks for itself. Now that you have met part of him, learning his name would be a good step. If you are going to be living together, and you want to get to know the rest of him, a name would be the next step.

If you're moving in, just ask. You'd be friendly, not too forward to ask his name

Well not unless you want to call him sweety or honey the whole time.

You can always find out his name at the wedding. You know at the bit where the presiding official says to you " do you Roman take ??? to be you husband?" well then you can say " so that's your name!" hahaha

What's in a name? Just call him Hon or Sexy or some such familiar.

I'm useless with names anyway.

I believe so -- Just look for his wallet while he is asleep, and check his driver licence, if you really care to know what his name is.
