This is such a bizarre story..but I met my husband when I was 13. We went to school with each other, and we started calling each other girlfriend and boyfriend at that age. We dated all through high school only breaking up a few times. We ended up marrying at the age of 18 and have been married 30 years. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. IT"S very unusual. I would have gotten as much education as I could...but...I love him with all my heart.

We met when she was 22 and I was 28. Dated for a year then she went to graduate school 13 hours away. We stayed together the whole time and only saw each other 4 or 5 times a year. Married at 27 and 33. Glad I was older when we married. Had some growing up to do.
Would be curious to know how many respondents ended in divorce.

Met my ex-wife when I was 17. We dated for about 8 months then broke up for almost 3 years - in the time she got married and had a child. When we met again, we fell back in love and wound up getting married almost a year later. I was almost 22 at the time. And I count it as the second biggest mistake of my life. I was young and inexperienced with love and didn't realize we were too different in some fundamental areas to sustain a strong relationship.

I was 19, he was 18 when we met.....it's really a funny story on how we got together...he was just a friend in my dorm, I hadn't thought of him "that way" until I heard from my roommate that there were rumors that we were together....made me think "hhhmmmmm"....had a child together when I was 20 and he was 19...he moved across the state to be with me and our son...lived together for a year.....didn't get married until we were both 21 (I wanted to know that it was going to work, as a child is NOT a reason to get married) we will be celebrating 8 years in June and have 3 wonderful children....he is my greatest love and my best friend.....I am sooooo lucky!!!!!

I was 30 and my wife was 27 we dated for 1 year then got engaged we were engaged for another year then we got married we have been married now for 3 years and together for a total of 5 years. I am 35 now and she is 32 we have a beautiful 2year old daughter

I kissed alot of frogs before I found my prince!!
I was 31. My mother introduced us...she had known him for years, and when she met him she told him " I want you to meet my daughter" " you are going to fall in love and get married"
He laughed!!
6 years later we met, 2 years later we married. We will celebrate 7 years this month.. He is the love of my life, we are so lucky to have each other.
