I just got a text from the upgrade centre.orange and they say claim your free camera phone by ringing a number they give, it then says T&C applies.
Is this genuine do you think, and what is T&C applies?
thanks
The offer closes tomorrow the 14 feb

I got just the same sort of text about 6 months ago - tried calling it!
Turned out it wasn't from my network provider (not Orange) but from a direct sales team trying to get me to sign up to a new contract with a new network.
basically it is a form of 'cold calling'/telesales, but because they are offering you the chance to respond or not they don't have to abide by all the rules/regulations that cover that industry

I have had exactly the same text message on dozens of occasions - since the summer of 2006.

Ignore it. It is a con to get you to switch from Pay As You Go to a Contract.

I had a similar text on Orange PAYG and just ignored, I reckon they are trying to get you to sign up to a contract!

T&C=Terms and Conditions

T&C stands for Terms and Conditions and no doubt you will only get a new camera phone by signing up to a contract phone.

This is actually a phishing message - its nothing to do with Orange - it is a private organisation trying to sell Orange product while trying to get your personal details for marketing

I've never heard of this and have had no texts from Orange about it. I'd be suspicious!
