If those are the only reasons to have a sex change, then don't do it. Go and see a shrink so you can discuss it and find out if it's really what you need or not.

It sounds like a sex change is just something you'd have to move through the world easier - to fix how other people treat you. Not how you feel on the inside, as a woman (which is a good reason for surgery). I don't think having sex reassignment surgery would fix anything for you - you need to work on being proud of who you are (a gay man). You can still live as a man and hang around with women. You shouldn't have to change who YOU are to be treated with respect and dignity.
Women don't have it better off, believe me. If you transition, you'll be treated AS a woman, and that comes with its own pitfalls and circumstances (sexism, violence, etc). I think, if you're having such a hard time living as a gay man, you should see a counselor/therapist. They can help you with how you see yourself. It doesn't sound as if you think you're transgendered, just that you want a better way to move through the world. Check out some therapy resources first, and see if you can start to like yourself for who you are before taking any steps towards something as large as gender reassignment.

Go Benji!
Well, I know you as a male and i find you to be a great person of company. Im even talking to you live right now.
If you wanna be a scummy woman, then go ahead, but you do have to see a shrink if you go, Graham told me on new years cause i said i wouldnt mind a sex change.
I would rather you be a male though Benji Boy.

it does not sound like you are transsexual and therefore would not get the letters needed to have the surgery. SRS is not something you can just get done on a apur of the moment. it takes years to get te the point were surgery is an option.
so just enjoy being the man you are because it dont sound like you feel your in the wrong body to me.

It's not that easy. From what I understand, you would need to live as a woman for a year and you would need to be backed up in this decision by a psychologist before being considered for the surgery.

Unless you think of yourself as a woman trapped inside a man's body, you'll be denied the operation under psychological grounds. Your nly recourse would be to travel to the Far East and get it done (mucho moolah).
From what you've said I think your misgiven in thinking that you need one.

You need better reasons than that... Try writing up a list of pro's and con's and take it from there. Pro - I get to sleep with straight men, and maybe lesbians... Con - I may get beaten up or abused because of the way I look.
That kind of thing. I've started, now you take it away...

Don't do it. You can be very happy just the way you are. I don't think people who do those things are wrapped very tight. I think eventually as years go by they regret it.

Why do you want to interfere with what God gave you, do you know what pain & deppression people go through that have sex changes, you already gay, now you want to commit another sin. Go see a shrink maybe she can sort you out.
