first off to the one that assumes she isn't getting what she needs from the relation ship she is in is ridiculous. Second... she obviously sees something she likes in you weather it be a good friend or more that is something you can't push, a simple sucker with a small card left on her desk would say more then you know. don't push your luck with a long stem red rose, roses are meant for lovers. Don't say silly stuff like "Be Mine" a simple thank you would warm her heart. "thanks for making my days at work a little brighter" "thanks for being my friend" Don't scare her just let her know that with her in your life it seems a bit brighter... =))

You dont want to do anything obvious, keep it in the lines of office supplies or something. Buy her a really nice set of pins after talking about how foolish you think it is to waste money on designer pin sets. buy her some candy hearts as well as some for yourself with a note that says "get ready" and then throw one or two at her from your desk once she sets down. ( if you set close together) If she is flirting with you and she is "taken" she obviously isnt getting something from that relationship so you have a chance. You could even be so bold as to give her a card or note that says, after your boyfriend screws up valentines day, I hear there is this really nice restaurant where men are wonderful and know how to treat women... maybe you should go with me Thursday night? - She would at least think it was funny, or I would anyway.

Well, I'm only 12 but you can get her chocolate and roses for valentines day....my brother says its a classic and besides...you must be a really nice guy if you aren't going to ask her out even though she has a boyfriend but don't go with the traditional roses get like yellow or white. As for chocolate go for malleys ok? good luck :)

She's already in a relationship so you stay the hell away from her!
How would you feel if some coworker of your gf's was flirting with her and buying her presents for Valentine's Day?

Nothing too fancy, but something that tells her she's on your mind. A good box of chocolates would do. If you want to give flowers, don't get a whole bouquet, a single long stemmed rose would be nice. If you want to add that personal touch and sincerity, handmake your own card

A FRIENDLY card might be appropriate, but that's about it. I agree with the others -- you should respect the fact that she's in a relationship.
