Men have always been more secretive about their health and despite the old saying women get colds and men get flu, really do complain less than women.

Unfortunately this is why over the years men's health has been less prominent in the media and has been targeted less.

When I was learning to be a GP the figures for GP attendance were an average of 3 contacts per patient per year. This was made up of 2 contacts per man and 4 per woman. Even excluding exclusively female problems the consultation rates in women have always been higher.

As they ssay its a man thing. Men do not consider it macho to see the doctor.

The answer should be obvious to you. This forum contains answers from people with no qualifications to give an accurate answer on questions of health. It's entertainment for me to read of bimboes directing other bimboes. Whereas Men, being more intelligent, more often seek the medically correct answer to a health problem. Case Closed.

I'm a nurse. I think that women tend to worry more about their health and a man would rather wait until it gets serious enough to question. I use to answer many of those questions but I just started a new account. I have no problem answering anyone question if I can help. Take care.

Because men are more concerned with the size of their penis than with their health! look at the questions in men's health and you will see that I am correct!
Women are concerned with anything that affects their body and men are concerned with anything that affects their privates!
just an observation

Edit; sorry if the truth hurts guys! no need for the angry replies either, it is a joke OK Frank!

Women are quite open when it comes to health issues, where as men would rather keep it to themselves, due to feeling embarrassed, fear or maybe even think they may see it as being a weakness.

I think its because women have more complex bodies and after all we carry other little human beings inside us when we're pregnant and I think we just need to know whats happening so that we can keep ourselves healthy. Or maybe we are just more aware than men.

I don't know, maybe some men are too proud/shy to admit they need help with a health issue?

Women like several hundred opinions on what 's wrong with them so they can maximise the complexity of the ailment - men just assume it's fatal and get on with it!

Because men neglect their health and then die twenty years before their partners.
