My husband gave me a penny for my thoughts once as we were joking around laughing by a fountain.
I took it & threw it in making a wish.
I would say I spent it foolishly seeing how the wish hasn't come true and it's been close to 8-10 years. If I remembered where I tossed it I'd go get my penny and wish back - like in Goonies .

No I've never got a penny for my thoughts...so I couldn't spend or invested it...

Yes, I was once given a penny for my ideas. I had a shrewd-aleck boyfriend whilst I was once an adolescent. He had made me mad. I advised him to take me residence instantly and I was once now not speakme to him. When we pulled up in my driveway he stated, "Here's a penny on your ideas" and passed me a penny. I gave him fairly a couple of ideas for his penny, if I don't forget safely.

No, but whenever someone gives me their "2 cents worth" I invest both pennies in my retirement account!
