When Saddam was in power in Iraq the people in Iraq knew that there was law and order and that their needs would be looked after. Although not all iraqis liked Saddam it was still a safer country then than it is now.
Now that he has been executed the Suni and Shai muslims are fighting over who should be in power. This will go back to when Saddam was fighting the Kurdish ( which if you look into the history will find was over the fact that Saddam wanted Kurdistan to realise that that Iraq is one country and Kurdistan was in Iraq )

It is now not safe to go out of your house during the day let alone the evening in Iraq. It all depends on where you live as well.

The situation in Iraq is not a civil war. do not listen to the idiots on the news. they are just trying to get ratings.

Here's the facts.
The US invaded Iraq and removed Saddam Hussein from power. The people of Iraq were happy because they were no longer being tortured or killed for no reason.

Now Iraq has its own government run by the people. The reason people are calling it a civil war is because of the fighting between the Sunni and Shiite muslims.

The problem are the terrorist groups who are trying to destabilize the middle east to make the US look bad.

Civil War is a war where several diffferent groups within one country vie for power with each other. In Iraq, this is being portrayed as Sunni vs. Shia Muslim and apparently the Kurds are being left out entirely. The Civil War is frightening to America because it will caue other coutries in the area to beign supporting which group they want the furure dictator to come from. Iran will support the Shias, and other coutnries will support eh minority Sunnis, and no one will support the Kurds (execpt an unlikely token support from Turkey to keep them out of their coutnry). Kind of like the North and the South during the American Civil War.
